Your First Session

What To Expect

WHEN YOU ARRIVE at the Magnolia Financial Center, you'll see off-street parking, free to use while you're here.  My office is 205B, located on the second floor, accessible either by the outside ramp and steps, or the elevator or stairs from the first floor entrance.

UPON ENTERING, you'll notice the restrooms straight ahead. There's an entry code for security purposes, so feel free to text me ahead of time and I'll send it to you.

MY OFFICE is 205B, down the hallway immediately to your right. If the door is closed, please have a seat and I'll be with you shortly.

Thanks, and I look forward to meeting you!

Facts and FAQS (frequently asked questions)

Should I arrive early?

It's always a good idea to arrive about five minutes early. If you can't, don't sweat it - a few minutes are built in to each session to interview you and allow you to get ready in private.

What should I bring or wear?

If you'd like to spend a portion of your session working on stretching, it's a good idea to have athletic wear or something easy to move in. Otherwise, come as you are - a clean set of linens is waiting for you on the table.

I Have Concerns About Modesty. Will I be properly covered?

Your safety and modesty are number one priorities here.  If you're ever uncomfortable, for any reason - the temperature in the room, the pressure, but ESPECIALLY your personal boundaries, please, speak up. Remember, it's YOUR session.

So, if a competent, therapeutic session in a safe space is what you're looking for, look no further.

How Do I Get Ready?

After we discuss your physical issues and session goals, your therapist will step out and give you time to undress to your level of comfort and lie on the table, under the covers. Before re-entering, your therapist will knock to make sure you're ready.

What if I have Allergies or Sensitive Skin?

Not a problem - All sheets and towels are washed in fragrance-free detergent. Also, Wade Massage Therapy currently uses Apricot Kernel Oil and Shea Butter, and will continue our commitment to use nut-free oils.

The use of products like Bio-Freeze and Tiger Balm may be incorporated, but only after asking for your consent.

Aromatherapy is included with each session, but is not applied directly. It may easily be eliminated if needed or desired.

Do You Have Showers?

Our apologies - We are currently not equipped with locker room or shower facilities.
